About the role

  • Rapidly growing NYC-based internet provider looking to hire a Controller to join our team.
  • This role will also work collaboratively with the Accounts Receivable analyst, Accounts Payables analyst, Senior Finance Director and future Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst.
  • The ideal candidate will be based in the NY metro area with the ability to work from Honest HQ in lower Manhattan approximately 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years at a leading accounting firm.
  • 2-6 years experience in industry (working outside of an accounting firm) as a Controller, Accounting Manager or Director of Finance.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Advanced skill using QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with an annual audit process
  • A desire to take on new challenges and learn in a fast-paced working environment.

Compensation

  • Manage the annual audit including workpapers and auditor communications.
