About the role
- ABOUT THIS POSITION Advises business leaders by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
- Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytical models and reports to support various business functions (e.g., product, marketing, operations, finance).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and business teams to define data requirements, implement tracking solutions, and ensure data integrity.
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards, visualizations, and self-service analytics tools to empower business users.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team or teams of data analysts for business segments or the company at large.
- Leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources.
- Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis.
- Selects, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Expert proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Advanced experience with a major programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and building compelling dashboards.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design (A/B testing).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Master's degree preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role within an analytics team is a plus.
