Consultant & Stakeholder Support: Act as the primary point of escalation for Billing Agents and Project Managers regarding contract terms, budget tracking, and complex billing inquiries.

5+ years of experience in project cost accounting or project-based billing, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
Strong ability to manipulate and interpret data
Ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance Project Managers and Consultants.
Systems Expertise: Proficiency with ERP systems.

Prior experience leading, mentoring, or coaching a team is preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems.
Experience with Sage Intacct is highly preferred
Leadership: Prior experience leading, mentoring, or coaching a team is preferred

Bilingual in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Communication: Ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance Project Managers and Consultants.

As the Billing Team Lead, you will report to the Head of Finance and act as a bridge between Finance and Operations.
You will lead a team of billing agents whose work mirrors that of Project Accountants, overseeing the entire lifecycle of project financials-from time and material tracking to revenue recognition.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our billing is not only accurate and timely but also compliant with sophisticated accounting principles.
