About the role
- Forward Air is seeking a capable and career-oriented Operations Dock Supervisor to lead our fast-paced shipping/dock operation. The qualified candidate will coordinate all activities of dockworkers, drivers and other support personnel. The supervisor will provide planning for, direction to, and will control available resources associated with the timely,
- damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts. In addition, the supervisor will provide dockworker and driver training, performance feedback, and provide disciplinary recommendations when necessary. Previous experience with cargo operations is a plus.
