About the role
- This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across Reach, Recover, and Restore functions within the A21 Campaign in NC.
- OPPORTUNITIES + KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE (DEPENDENT UPON NEED):
- Accompany Staff to events and presentations and be prepared to represent A21 at tabling events and direct community members to A21 resources
Responsibilities
- Support staff in meetings, communications, and trainings with community partners and guests
- Conduct community mapping of churches, universities, and other local partners to support GFS engagement efforts
- Develop and manage social media content for the local GFS page
- Opportunity to attend and support staff participation in local and state task force meetings
- Accompany staff to community meetings and engagements, Recover operations, and legal support trips, as appropriate
- Review Recover-related documentation, prepare Freedom Bags, and support logistics for Recover-related activities
- Maintain up to date inventory of Freedom Bag supplies and restock where needed
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to volunteer in the US
- In-depth knowledge of human trafficking issues, globally and in NC
- Experience planning and executing events and trainings
