- About Blue Robotics Blue Robotics makes affordable, high-quality hardware and software for marine robotics - from underwater thrusters and ROVs to autonomous surface vehicles and the software that runs them.
- As the Assembly Technician, each component that you assemble will go out into the world to help explore shipwrecks, study endangered species, map the ocean floor, and generally advance human understanding of the oceans.
- For us that means every Assembly Technician is someone who is willing to learn and ask questions, comfortable receiving feedback, and can be trusted to work consistently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Consistently assemble products that meet quality standards; Complete manufacturing orders in a timely manner; Maintain detailed notes on each job; Report scrap and waste; Maintain an orderly workstation; Follow safety guidelines; Communicate production issues as they arise; Take the initiative to stay up-to-date on production processes; Complete other tasks as needed from time to time
Nice to have
- 2 years experience soldering and assembling products
- Familiarity with 5S principles
- Experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment is a plus!
- Consistently assemble products that meet quality standards
- Complete manufacturing orders in a timely manner
- Report scrap and waste
- Follow safety guidelines
Skills
- Additionally, this position requires carrying, pulling/pushing, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, as well as using basic hand tools.
Compensation
- $18.00 - $20.00 USD per hour Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
