About the role

As a dynamic and growing organization, responsibilities will evolve; however, core areas of focus include:
Ensure restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies throughout the day
Set up and break down spaces for school events, meetings, and activities

Building Cleaning & Maintenance (80%)
Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify cleaning, maintenance, or safety concerns
Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, basic fixes) as appropriate
Maintain floors through routine care such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying leadership when restocking is needed
Support seasonal or deep cleaning projects during school breaks
Food Service Support (20%)

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work cooperatively with students, staff, and coworkers.
Knowledge of sanitation practices or willingness to learn.
Reporting to the Dean of Operations or designated school leader, this individual must be reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and addressing facility needs.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform duties requiring standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods.
