About the role
- The KVP Energy Services Fleet GPS Installer/Shop Hand is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing GPS tracking devices, dash cameras, and other vehicle monitoring equipment on a variety of vehicles.
- This position may require overtime and on-call hours.
- Install and configure GPS tracking systems, dash cams, and telematics equipment in vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed installation records and report completed work.
- Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time required.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- 1+ years of direct experience GPS tracking systems, dash cams, and telematics equipment in vehicles.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
- Required Skills/Abilities:
Skills
- Experience with GPS or dash camera systems preferred.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow installation procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of essential tools and shop equipment.
