About the role
- Job Responsibilities • Develop and execute procurement strategies for warehouse-specific categories, including material handling equipment (forklifts, racking, packaging materials (bags, boxes, pallets, stretch film, tape), PPE, cleaning supplies, MRO parts, and services. • Lead annual and quarterly contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure
- favorable pricing, payment terms, and service levels. • Identify and onboard new vendors to improve cost, quality, lead times, or service levels. • Support Procure to Pay execution and local sourcing activities to meet business needs. • Work closely with internal teams, Warehouse Operations, Inventory Control, Finance, legal, HR, and Logistics teams. •
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for warehouse-specific categories, including material handling equipment (forklifts, racking, packaging materials (bags, boxes, pallets, stretch film, tape), PPE, cleaning supplies, MRO parts, and services.
- Identify and onboard new vendors to improve cost, quality, lead times, or service levels.
- Support Procure to Pay execution and local sourcing activities to meet business needs.
- Partner with Finance on PO approvals, payment terms, accruals, and resolve invoice issues.
