About the role

  • The Ensemble Department is seeking a guitar player to accompany students in ensemble classes.
  • The guitarist will act as part of the "house band" for regularly scheduled Ensemble Department classes and periodic additional accompanying assignments for recitals, concerts, auditions, and special events.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Music (preferred, but not required)

  • Excellent musicianship, especially the ability to groove
  • A background in all Contemporary styles.
  • Have complete technical command of the instrument.
  • Sensitive to the needs of vocalists.
