About the role
- You'll represent DEPT® to our clients, adding value to relationships beyond organizational skills, doing a mixture of account management and strategic planning.
- However, candidates must work East Coast business hours due to collaboration with our UK team.
Responsibilities
- Hold recurring meetings with senior leadership on the client side focused on pushing their business forward, macro goals, industry trends/updates, and new opportunities to drive growth.
- Lead new business pitches and proposals alongside leadership and growth team
- Estimate, manage, monitor and reconcile client out-of-pocket funds
- Manage client portfolio revenue, including updating relevant internal financial systems accurately and in a timely manner
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee the implementation of commercial agreements
- Proactively pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities to drive innovation, strategy, and organic revenue growth
- Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, our 4,000+ specialists deliver growth invention across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data.

Requirements
- Strong client relationship management skills, including experience working directly with clients on strategy development
- Possess a strong understanding of scope management inclusive of how to track and manage, escalate scope pacing issues
Nice to have
- Draw conclusions and actionable insights from analysis
- Ensure delivery of work is to the highest possible standard
- Contribute to the creative process by sharing their ideas and experience
- Be accountable for high employee retention and managing direct reports' growth
- 5+ years experience in roles servicing clients in an agency environment
- Experience managing large client, social AORs and agency teams
- Experience managing complex campaigns and retainers (experience in organic and paid social preferred)
- Experience with campaign content production and budget management
Compensation
- Work in partnership with senior clients to develop annual strategies
