Manage the recurring financial data collection efforts for Americas Private Equity, ensuring that data is clean and accurate and operational processes are high quality and repeatable.
KKR has an enterprise data operations group to collect, manage, and harness the power of data across our diverse business activities.
The PortCo Data Operations team is seeking to hire an Associate based in Boston, MA to support Americas Private Equity data management and performance reporting/analysis efforts.
Collaborate with regional team members across offices and time zones in support of these initiatives.

4-6 years of experience in a data-intensive role within financial services, private equity, asset management, or a comparable institutional environment.
Intermediate SQL skills to manipulate data (experience with joins, unions, views, etc.).
Familiarity with Python or a similar programming language.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill data into insights.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to be detail-oriented across multiple competing priorities.
Monitor data quality controls to ensure PortCo data completeness & accuracy, helping with the processing of any / all corrective maintenance required to remediate identified data issues in a timely manner.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Analytics, Information Systems, or related quantitative discipline
Master's degree preferred.
Understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and the private equity ecosystem.
Hands-on experience using data visualization tools such as Sigma, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools to support analyses.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Excel plug ins, Power Query).
Strong cultural fit - collaborative, intellectually curious, action-oriented, and committed to high standards of excellence and accountability.

Buy-side exposure with experience in asset/ investment management.
Data analytics & modeling skills using Python, R, etc.
Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
Experience with Private Equity Portfolio Monitoring tools such as Chronograph, iLEVEL, Cobalt, etc.
Knowledge of Private Markets / Private Company data, trends and analytics.
Familiarity with market & alternative data vendors.
