Responsibilities
- Design and Technical Development
- Prepare engineering designs for site development, grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and roadway improvement projects.
- Perform engineering calculations, technical analyses, and design studies.
- Develop construction documents, specifications, and supporting technical documentation using Civil 3D and related design tools.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts throughout the design process.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to support successful project delivery.
- Field and Site Support
- Evaluate existing conditions and verify design assumptions during project development and construction.
- Contribute to design reviews and quality control efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff as experience grows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to conduct occasional site visits and field work
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds of equipment as needed

Compensation
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role.
- In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
