Responsibilities

  • Design and Technical Development
  • Prepare engineering designs for site development, grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and roadway improvement projects.
  • Perform engineering calculations, technical analyses, and design studies.
  • Develop construction documents, specifications, and supporting technical documentation using Civil 3D and related design tools.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts throughout the design process.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Field and Site Support
  • Evaluate existing conditions and verify design assumptions during project development and construction.
  • Contribute to design reviews and quality control efforts.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff as experience grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to conduct occasional site visits and field work
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds of equipment as needed

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role.
  • In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
