About the role
- The Logistics Supervisor works closely with multiple departments to ensure logistics activities are completed in an accurate, timely, and organized manner.
- The Logistics Supervisor reports to an offsite Logistics Manager responsible for overall program oversight, operational guidance, and performance management.
Responsibilities
- We provide a range of professional services, including specialized facilities, customized logistics support, and direct care services.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transfers, and distribution activities.
- Support scheduling and coordination of logistics-related transport needs.
- Ensure timely distribution of materials to support facility operations.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a large facility for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or move supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in warehouse and indoor/outdoor operational environments.
- Ability to respond quickly during operational or emergency situations.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, transportation coordination, or related supervisory role.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- equivalent experience may be considered.
Skills
- Bilingual ability (Spanish or other commonly encountered languages) preferred.
- Experience in government-contracted, residential, shelter, or institutional environments.
- Experience supporting family residential or humanitarian operations.
- Training in trauma-informed care, conflict resolution, or de-escalation techniques.
- Experience improving logistics workflows or supply chain processes.
- OSHA, warehouse safety, forklift, or logistics certifications preferred.
- If applicable, Child Abuse/ Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check with no adverse findings.
- Fully onsite position in a federally contracted ICE residential facility in Alexandria, LA.
- Fast-paced operational environment including warehouse, storage, receiving, and distribution areas.
- 24/7 operational setting requiring flexibility across all shifts.
- Frequent coordination with multiple operational departments.
- Requires professionalism, adaptability, and strong organizational skills
