About the role

In a career as a Clinical Lab Coordinator, you join us in providing life-changing care to patients from across the region.
In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day laboratory operations and ensure quality laboratory service.
Regulate the workflow efficiency of the department through formulating daily personnel assignments or adjustments considering staffing levels and the patient's needs.

Demonstrates and maintains competency in all aspects of patient testing including specimen collection, sample processing, test performance and reporting.
Maintains communication with Laboratory management as liaison for department employees.
Performs quality control procedures and laboratory testing of biological fluids on specific laboratory instrumentation according to established protocols.
Evaluates results for abnormalities and inconsistencies by following predetermined protocol and take the necessary action to alert the appropriate personnel or correct the malfunctioning instrumentation and document any actions taken.
Participates in department meetings and Laboratory committee activities to maintain continuity, consistency, and communication inside and outside of the department.

Minimum of five years of full-time laboratory experience or training in the specialty or sub-specialty in which the individual performs tests required.
BLS certification required.
Registered by the ASCP or NCA required.
