Responsibilities

  • As the Lead Technical Analyst, Digital Asset Management, you will have primary responsibility for the Museum's Digital Asset Management system (DAMs) and related workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and other specialists to review and configure DAMs metadata and workflow processes. Contribute to system integrations and enhancements, including task automation, reporting, and other digitization procedures.
  • Provide direct support and training to general and power users.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports for the Museum's DAMs, such as production workflows, digital rights management, and licensing activities.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for the DAMs and adjacent systems and workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, library science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of digital asset or content management experience required.
  • Experience with the NetX platform is considered a plus.

Skills

  • Expertise with SQL Server, including complex SQL queries and creating SSRS reports.
  • Knowledge of XMP and other metadata schemas.
  • Understanding of REST and web service APIs for accessing DAMs and external data sources.
  • Experience and/or interest in digital preservation and digital preservation workflows.
  • Other skills not required but considered a plus:
  • Experience with Windows Server, Jira, Elastic, and enterprise Java applications.
  • Knowledge of IIIF APIs.
  • Experience with collections information systems, especially TMS by Gallery Systems.

Compensation

  • The advertised pay scale reflects the good faith minimum and maximum salary range for this role.

  • $90,000 - $100,000
