About the role

  • The DevOps Automation Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing monitoring and automation solutions on the AWS platform.
  • This role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, containerization, and observability tools such as Kubernetes, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Continuously improve the existing DevOps platform through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable monitoring and automation solutions on AWS.
  • Build capabilities around emerging DevOps tools and technologies aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and implement DevSecOps practices.
  • Lead technical discussions, solution design, and delivery execution.
  • Administer and manage Jira and Confluence environments ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Configure and manage plugins, integrations, APIs, and webhooks.
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation (runbooks, workflows).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into tool configurations.

  • Reverse proxy servers (NGINX)
  • Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux administration
  • Understanding of AWS billing and cost optimization
  • 10-12 years of overall IT experience
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization
  • Strong experience working in Agile environments
