- The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force's Space Systems Center (SSC).

Responsibilities
- Lead the Development of Satellite Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for spacecraft, ground systems, payloads, and cross system interfaces in a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment
- Develop interface diagrams, data dictionaries, message formats, command and telemetry mappings, and system level interface descriptions
- Identify interface risks and drive technical issue resolution across engineering teams.
- Support system integration and test activities by providing authoritative interface documentation and clarification
- Manage and coordinate Interface Control Working Groups (ICWGs), ensuring consistent communication across all stakeholders
- Collaborating with prime contractors, other support contractors, government civilians, and members of the U.S. Space Force
- Develop acquisition and technical requirements-related briefings, plans, papers, and other documentation in support of Govt decision making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 8+ years of experience in satellite systems, spacecraft development, or aerospace engineering
- 8+ years of experience working on DoD programs
- 5+ years of experience developing architecture models
- 5+ years of experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems and flight hardware (e.g., avionics, payloads, RF comms, power, GNC, thermal, propulsion)
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools such as Cameo, DOORS, MATLAB
- Proficiency in modeling languages such as SysML, UPDM, DoDAF
- AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH SCI IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
- Master's degree in engineering
- Direct experience developing or managing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for complex systems
- Ability to read and create schematics, interface diagrams, and data communication structures
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small technical team
- Excellent technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders

Compensation
- $135,000 - $169,000 USD
