- As a Buyer, you'll be responsible for purchasing the materials, supplies, machinery, and services that equip our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. Adhere to standard purchasing business processes
- Proactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to Applied factories including resolution of shipment/receiving and billing issues with supplier
- Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand
- Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts
- Negotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
- Drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers) with support from Managers

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Minimum Qualifications:
