Responsibilities

  • Organization Building & Scale
  • Build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams across embedded systems, edge AI, and hardware development.
  • Attract and develop top global talent while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and accountability.
  • Oversee architecture and design of next-generation embedded AI pipelines, firmware platforms, and purpose-built hardware for real-time safety applications.
  • Drive evaluation and adoption of cutting-edge AI accelerators, toolchains, and hardware ecosystems.
  • Lead innovation at the intersection of edge AI, firmware, and hardware.
  • Build and scale a world-class engineering organization solving safety-critical challenges.
  • Collaborate with global leaders in AI/ML, cloud, hardware, and operations.
  • Drive breakthrough technologies where milliseconds save lives.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure engineering performance, quality, and business impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of engineering experience with significant expertise in embedded systems, firmware, hardware, or edge AI.
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership leading firmware engineering.
  • Expertise with embedded AI ecosystems and accelerators (HailoRT, TensorRT, OpenVINO, TFLite, etc.).

Nice to have

  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and ability to influence across global stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Shape the strategy and execution of intelligent, distributed AI systems that protect millions of students daily.
