Responsibilities
- Organization Building & Scale
- Build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams across embedded systems, edge AI, and hardware development.
- Attract and develop top global talent while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and accountability.
- Oversee architecture and design of next-generation embedded AI pipelines, firmware platforms, and purpose-built hardware for real-time safety applications.
- Drive evaluation and adoption of cutting-edge AI accelerators, toolchains, and hardware ecosystems.
- Lead innovation at the intersection of edge AI, firmware, and hardware.
- Build and scale a world-class engineering organization solving safety-critical challenges.
- Collaborate with global leaders in AI/ML, cloud, hardware, and operations.
- Drive breakthrough technologies where milliseconds save lives.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure engineering performance, quality, and business impact.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience with significant expertise in embedded systems, firmware, hardware, or edge AI.
- 3+ years of engineering leadership leading firmware engineering.
- Expertise with embedded AI ecosystems and accelerators (HailoRT, TensorRT, OpenVINO, TFLite, etc.).
Nice to have
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and ability to influence across global stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Shape the strategy and execution of intelligent, distributed AI systems that protect millions of students daily.
