About the role
- Ensure customer samples and specimens are properly archived, labeled, and documented within the company's database for complete traceability.
- Meet individual and department productivity, accuracy, and quality targets.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Responsibilities
- Our worldwide genomics operations deliver innovative, affordable DNA testing for the discovery and commercial application of genomic advances that enhance the safety and abundance of life.
- Maintain plate inventories within processing labs, ensuring availability, organization, and proper tracking.
- Support laboratory upkeep by performing preventive maintenance tasks and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow established SOPs meticulously and support ISO‑compliant procedures through accurate documentation and consistent workflow execution.
Requirements
- The employee is frequently required to sit.
- Manage assigned projects by performing relevant tasks, maintaining documentation, and communicating progress as required.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a laboratory, sample management, or inventory‑focused environment.
- Familiarity with sample tracking databases, LIMS, or basic inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, and spreadsheets.
