About the role

  • The Maine Sleep Center at Chest Medicine Associates has been serving patients in the greater Portland, Maine area and from throughout Maine and southern New Hampshire for over 35 years.

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identification, collect documents, and obtain consent for the study.
  • Perform diagnostic polysomnography.
  • Perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) interface fitting and desensitization.
  • Perform CPAP/Bi-level/ASV titration studies.
  • Perform MSLT/MWT.

Requirements

  • For Polysomnographic Technologists, certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) or the RRT-SDS credential is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing PSGs and/or MSLTs.
  • Scoring proficiency is desirable.
