Skills
- Ability to function independently within the established policy and procedure guidelines and standing orders.
- Knowledge of EMR system of record keeping for employee medical records.
- Ability to facilitate processing employees from new hire to annual compliance.
- Ability to accurately take height, weight, blood pressure, vision, and color screening.
- Demonstrates the ability to administer medication provided in the Employee Health Department.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of hospital/departmental policies and procedures regarding Employee Health and workers' compensation.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to apply occupational health regulation principles and practices.
- Strives to keep current regarding Federal and State regulations affecting occupational health and workers' compensation practices.
- Performing pre-placement physical examinations and drug screens.
- Administering IM, Sub-Q, and intradermal injections.
- Performing phlebotomy.
- Demonstrating ability to use various computer programs.
