About the role

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems to ensure smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • $23 - $28/hour The Information Technology Intern supports the Support and Jobsite Operations teams in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • This role offers hands-on experience in IT system management, customer support, and multitasking within a fast-paced, complex operational environment.
  • / Essential Functions Work directly with our Support/Jobsite operations team and assist in technical problems/issues as needed.
  • Work directly with our Support and Jobsite Operations teams to assist with resolving technical problems and issues as they arise.
  • Support the IT team with system updates, backups, and implementation of security protocols to protect data integrity.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
  • Document technical procedures and provide end-user support and training as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer setup, peripheral connectivity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Some experience with Active Directory Domain Services and IT service management tools or ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with system updates, backups, cybersecurity best practices, and basic programming languages like HTML/CSS (advantageous).
  • Key Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to team members, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Required Experience Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Prior IT-related work experience preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset, demonstrating patience and professionalism.
