About the role
- Exciting Opportunity: Facilities Technician
- Working closely with the Asset Care and Facility Projects teams, the Facilities Technician is responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks across the site.
- This role includes performing basic repairs, inspections, preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- extend to some facility infrastructure, processing, and production equipment, and providing support on projects and assisting with facility upgrades as needed
- Inspecting and monitoring building systems and equipment
- Help manage facility inventory, tools and spare parts
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Piercings that cannot be removed must be taped while on shift
- Must be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada
- All successful candidates are required to pass background checks
