Responsibilities

  • Performs all check-in/check-out duties assigned and maintains proper records (Bill of Ladings (BOLs), receivers, pick tickets, and other usual and customary record keeping) for each individual task according to the warehouse standard operating procedures.
  • Identifies machine faults, troubleshoots, corrects system errors/issues and performs basic cleaning and maintenance on automation systems.
  • Performs janitorial tasks as necessary in designated work area to maintain a clean and organized space (which may include the full facility), to include emptying of trash, cleaning up spills, picking up debris, restacking overturned pallets/product, or other janitorial tasks as assigned.
  • Duties will include pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, building pallets, wrapping, transporting, counting, performing quality control checks, dumping, rework, replenishing, and otherwise handling of PBV products, raw materials, packaging, and other warehouse goods and materials.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass the forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV Material Handling Equipment.
  • Must be able to read and understand the difference in product labels and load ticket instructions.
  • Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials.
  • Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions.
  • Constantly (67%-100%) required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally (0%-33%%) required to sit, read, climb, reach, kneel, bend, push, crawl, reach, pull cases of product, walk, and stand.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least six (6) months of Forklift experience preferred.
