About the role

As a Math Tutor at Braintrust Tutors, you will work with students to strengthen their mathematical reasoning, number sense, and problem-solving strategies.
As an in-person tutor, our priority will be to match you with those engagements.
However, you may be considered for additional online roles if you would like to complete your schedule with us.

Implement Braintrust Tutors' intervention programs as designed, using all materials with fidelity
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance
Collaborate with the Braintrust Tutors Operations team and school staff to support student growth
Manage time effectively during sessions to complete all planned instructional activities
Knowledge of math instruction that builds number sense, procedural fluency, and problem-solving skills, with a scope and sequence ranging from counting to multi-digit arithmetic, including decimals and fractions.

You also need expertise in foundational math operations, algebraic problem-solving and geometry
Comfort collaborating with teachers and staff
To be considered, interested applicants must be available for the entire schedule.

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Active/expired teaching license or at least 5 years of experience working with K-8 students in an educational environment
