About the role

Penske Media Corporation (PMC), the parent company of Rolling Stone, Variety, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, SXSW, The Golden Globes, and many more brands, is seeking a Day Porter to join our Facilities team in our New York office.
This is an integral role on a service-oriented team proud of keeping our workplace safe, clean, and welcoming for all employees and guests.

Facilities Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the upkeep of common areas, lobbies, corridors, and conference rooms to ensure they meet corporate standards.
Amenity & Hospitality Support: Monitor, clean, and restock office kitchens, cafes, and coffee stations. Ensure snacks and beverages are neatly organized and replenished.
Restroom Upkeep: Perform routine checks of restrooms throughout the day to ensure they remain exceptionally clean, sanitized, and fully stocked.
Event Assistance: Support the workplace experience team with the light setup and breakdown of meeting spaces, catering layouts, or internal office events.

In addition, PMC owns several vital cultural events such as SXSW, LA3C, and Latin Music Week.

Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, walk all floors multiple times throughout the day, and comfortably lift and carry 30lbs (e.g., loaded trash bags, boxes of supplies, or moving light furniture).

Prior experience in corporate office cleaning, luxury hospitality, or premium residential porter services is highly preferred.

Track supply levels (cleaning products, paper goods, pantry items) and coordinate with office management to request replenishments.
Qualifications & Skills
A professional and courteous approach with excellent interpersonal skills, suitable for a corporate environment.

A good faith estimate of the salary is $25.00/Hour upon hire.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors).
