About the role
- This role focuses on the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning of databases across both UNIX and Windows platforms.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise database implementation, administration, and maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle RDBMS and related software
- Perform database tuning and optimization of instance parameters for peak performance
- Support database environments across UNIX and Windows platforms
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and SAP teams to ensure seamless integration
- Candidates may support one or more of the following roles:
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in database administration or development
- Experience with Oracle and/or SQL-based database systems
- Familiarity with enterprise database environments and architectures
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams
Nice to have
- UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
- Database Performance Tuning and Optimization
- Backup, Recovery, and High Availability strategies
- Database Security and Access Control
- Experience supporting SAP environments using Oracle (preferred)
