Requirements
- Faculty must have an Aims CTE Credential to teach these courses.
- The following are the minimum requirements to teach all MTE courses.
- Required Documents:
- Copy of Transcripts (official transcripts will be required upon hire)
- Enter the job duties you have preformed under the "Work Experience" section on your job application.
- Be sure to upload all the required documents listed at the above in "Upload these required additional documents" section.
- All required documents need to be submitted on every application.
- However, upon hire current Aims Community College Faculty are not required to submit transcripts if official transcripts are already on file.
- All application materials must be submitted by the closing date posted and become the property of Aims Community College.
- To comply with Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, if hired, you will be required to provide documents within 3 days of hire date to show your identity and your authorization to work.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field plus at least 2,000 hours of relevant industry experience within the last 10 years OR
- Associate degree in a STEM-related field plus at least 4,000 hours of relevant industry experience within the last 10 years OR
- Relevant professional or trade certifications and 10,000 hours of relevant industry experience.
- Experience older than 10 years will be considered if the candidate has been continuously teaching in the content area since that time.
- Shall hold or qualify for a post-secondary vocational credential in Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Production and Repair, and/or Engineering & Technology issued by Aims Community College CTE Office.
