Responsibilities
- We design and develop labeling and functional materials, radio-frequency identification (RFID) inlays and tags, software applications that connect the physical and digital and offerings that enhance branded packaging and carry or display information that improves the customer experience.
- Support day to day product and process operations.
- Identify and drive safety improvements.
- Support of the scale-up of new products and in the improvement of existing products.
- Support preventive maintenance plan on coating asset
- Lead coating trials and SOP changes
- Manage all aspects of Standard Operating Conditions Program
- Will be on-call for troubleshooting and support for 24/7 manufacturing operation
Requirements
- Flex work schedule as required to cover off shift and weekend production
- Ability to take on increased responsibility, special initiatives, and leadership role.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial engineering related preferred.
- 2+ years Operations Engineering or related experience.
- Experience in a 24/7 continuous environment preferred.
- Lean and six sigma manufacturing experience
- Web handling experience preferred.

- Data analysis and using statistical tools
Compensation
- The hiring base salary range represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
