About the role

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Directional Drill operator in central Indiana and surrounding areas in the Midwest.
Operate Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steer, Backhoe as needed.

Prior experience in underground utility work.
Strong independent work ethic with ability to work within a team.
Some lifting up to 20lbs. is required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experienced Horizontal Directional Drill Operator
Fusion experience and certification for HDPE a plus
Class A CDL or willingness to get one is a plus but not required.
Clear and concise communications.
Strong sense of urgency, focusing on time.
Approximately 100% of the position will work from the field.
Approximately 100% of the position will require travel.

Directional Drill operator in central Indiana and surrounding areas in the Midwest.
Be willing to travel during the week when needed.
Home most weekends
Be in a local operators union or willingness to get into one
Operation of Horizontal Directional Drill Machines
Operate HDD Locator a plus
Help with HDPE Fusion
Not only run the drill but help crew when needed with other tasks
