About the role
- This position is an opportunity to help Boeing work everything from KC-130H Refueling Tankers to F-15 and F/A-18 fighter jets to V-22 rotorcraft, based out of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
- In this role you will have knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, and Business).
- The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
- Lead and assist with the implement of manufacturing plans
- Assist in the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
- Leads and assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience researching and implementing new technologies and innovative practices in manufacturing processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in aerospace production
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience performing work per written documentation/authorities and knowledge of how release authority works
- 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, specifically loadable software and or equipment
- 5+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
- 3+ years of experience with data analysis and / or process improvements
- Experience with the following software PDM, CAPP, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, EWITS, BWS-CM, CDS, EWIRE, E-PLAN, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, EWIRE, WIRS, Equipment Manager
