About the role
- This is a hybrid leadership role based in the Portland metro area.
- The Counselor Supervisor will oversee a team of counselors and therapists, ensuring high-quality care delivery, strong clinical performance, and alignment with Affect's treatment model.
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to counselors and therapists
Responsibilities
- Drive strong clinical outcomes and team performance, including productivity, engagement, and quality metrics
- Support caseload and utilization management, including scheduling optimization and panel adjustments
- Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of clinicians
- Maintain a small clinical caseload as needed to support operations and remain connected to care delivery
- Participate in hiring and help build a strong, mission-aligned team

- As we expand in Oregon, we are seeking a Counselor Supervisor to lead, develop, and support a team of clinicians while helping drive strong clinical outcomes and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an independent clinician
- Prior experience supervising clinicians (required)
- Experience supporting documentation standards, utilization, and performance management
- Comfort working in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience leading teams and managing clinical staff performance
- Experience with hiring, onboarding, or training clinicians
- Familiarity with local Oregon treatment landscape and community resources
Skills
- Coach clinicians on complex cases, clinical skill development, and adherence to treatment standards
