About the role

  • Assisting machinists and other skilled workers with their tasks to enhance productivity.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, which includes sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.
  • Transporting materials and tools to and from the work area as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal (steel, aluminum, etc.) to build enclosures, and other components.

Skills

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, basic math for measurements, and basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with laser cutting machines, safety procedures, and precision work.
  • Physical Ability: Strength to lift 50 pounds and handle materials; good hand-eye coordination.
  • Tools & Equipment: Hand tools, power tools, laser cutters, welding equipment, measuring devices.
