Responsibilities

  • Execute the Licensing Roadmap: Directly manage and execute new license applications (VASP, MTL, and international equivalents) across all 2026 target jurisdictions.
  • Product Compliance Ownership: Partner with Product and Engineering from ideation to launch, providing the regulatory guardrails for new asset classes and trading features.
  • Navigating the digital asset market can be complex and fragmented, with limited products and services that support trading strategies, structures, and liquidity found in conventional financial markets.

Requirements

  • A seasoned regulatory attorney with 4+ years of experience in fintech, crypto, or institutional finance.
  • Proven experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional licensing processes.

Compensation

  • The base pay for this role is expected to be between $196,000 - $248,000 in New York City.
  • This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated.
  • This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
  • Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location, skillset, experience, qualifications and the level at which the candidate is hired.
