About the role

UIS is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company.
Summary: The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of critical electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role involves managing complex electrical systems, daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
Manage daily site operations, including supervising subcontractors and construction crews.
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, safety incidents, and deliveries.

Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
Climb ladders, stairs, or elevated surfaces as required by the job.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring frequent movement and manual labor.

Education/Experience:
Skills and Competencies:

High School Diploma/GED
bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in electrical systems supervision or construction drawing design for wafer fabrication facilities.
Semiconductor facility experience is a plus

Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices, concerning Electrical scope.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
Ability to work ina construction site environment (trailer office).
Interaction with powered industrial equipment, tools, and vehicles.
