About the role
- Join our team as a Gas Operations Representative I and take on a rewarding role supporting gas distribution operations, equipment maintenance, and customer service that helps keep homes and businesses running every day.
- You can: - Use dispatching equipment such as radios, telephones and computer terminals while being able to read and interpret distribution maps.
- Working Conditions: - Work performed in the field being exposed to heat/cold/loud noise/confined spaces/radiation majority of the time with 25% travel along with in office work.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas distribution systems, including pipeline construction, plastic pipe fusion, meter work, and service line activities.
- Perform customer service functions such as gas turn-ons/turn-offs, appliance servicing and adjustments, high-bill investigations, service agreements, and payment collection.

Requirements
- Final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.
- Maintain accurate system records, complete required documentation, process service orders, Blue Stake requests, and contractor verification records.
