About the role
- The instructor also oversees shop operations, equipment and inventory management, and ensures a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for youth.
- The instructor teaches students of BRISD during the school year as well as after school and throughout the summer with vocational programming. - Gas supplement offered for travel to Boys Ranch High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Responsibilities
- The Woodshop Instructor leads woodworking instruction at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of woodworking shop safety standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in woodworking, fabrication, or woodshop management required.
- Experience with CNC, CAD/design software, 3D printing, etc. preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be available for travel as needed.
