About the role
- This position is the quintessential "leadership from the front" role for our mulch installation crews.
- An Installation Field Superintendent is a field management position that plays a critical role in driving and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity in our daily operations, but does so in a way that elevates and unifies our staff.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new software programs
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently
- Travel required in leading our regional crews
- As an Installation Superintendent at Benchmark Companies, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:
Nice to have
- CDL preferred, but will assist in achieving this license
- 5 years of landscape experience including 2 years in some management capacity is preferred
Skills
- Good written and oral communication skills (Bilingual)
- Must be a creative problem solver with the capacity to innovate
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be team-oriented
