About the role

  • The Senior Vice President, Director of Mortgage Lending is responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, profitability, compliance, and operational performance of the Bank's residential mortgage lending division.
  • Establish annual production, revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
  • Identify new mortgage products, delivery channels, and market opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • The Director develops and executes strategies to expand mortgage production, enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen referral relationships while ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
  • This executive serves as a key member of the Bank's senior leadership team and partners with Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Marketing, Credit Administration, Operations, and Compliance to achieve the Bank's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and execute the Bank's residential mortgage lending strategy.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive mortgage lending experience.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience managing mortgage sales and operations.
  • Experience with secondary market lending.
  • Community or regional bank experience preferred.
  • Experience leading mortgage teams through changing interest-rate environments.

Compensation

  • This position comes with a generous salary of up to $220K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position)
