Responsibilities
- Honors & Scholars Program Support
- The DC Community Impact Scholars Graduate Assistant supports the administration, programming, and student engagement efforts of the DC Community Impact Scholars Program.
- The Graduate Assistant serves as a key member of the program team, assisting with program operations, event coordination, communications, student support, and community engagement activities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Nice to have
- Experience coordinating events or managing projects.
- Familiarity with Canva, Qualtrics, Microsoft Forms, social media management, or website content management.
Skills
- This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
- Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions.
- FWS funds cannot be applied to janitorial, construction, partisan or sectarian positions.

Compensation
- $20.00 per hour.

- Prior experience in student affairs, higher education, nonprofit organizations, community engagement, or program administration.
