About the role

- You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment.
- Applicants who do not currently have a USG security clearance are welcome to apply and, if selected, will be processed for a USG security clearance by SNC prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation and commissioning of equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.
- Maintain and update comprehensive records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Manage and track inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Experience using troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.
- Ability to obtain a current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
- A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment.
- Associate's degree in a related field of study.
- Experience with FCC or FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL).
- Prior experience with Security+, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and/or A+.
- Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope, and/or Pitot Static equipment gauges.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
- Experience with software and firmware updates for technical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
- Hand and finger dexterity to work with small mechanical components and tools.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.
- Ability to travel frequently to customer locations, sometimes on short notice.
- Ability to work in a combination of office and field environments.
