About the role
- This individual is highly proactive, takes initiative, and works both independently and as a core member of the Studios team.
- This role reports to the VP of Studios, handles ad hoc requests with urgency and strong follow-through, and serves as the primary point of contact for all distribution, licensing, and ad sales relationships.
- This is a hybrid role based out of a World Poker Tour-designated office.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for advertising, sponsorship, distribution, and licensing opportunities across World Poker Tour.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of agency, brand, platform, and media partner opportunities.
- Own end-to-end deal cycles including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, closing, and renewal strategy.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships across streaming, OTT, FAST, digital, and traditional channels.
- Lead account planning and relationship management for key media and distribution partners.
- Research partner priorities, roadmaps, and market trends to identify expansion opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with major agencies, holding companies, and direct brand clients.
- Lead campaign planning and execution in partnership with internal marketing and operations teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in media sales, ad sales, partnerships, or business development with strong knowledge of OTT/streaming ecosystems, monetization models, and programmatic advertising.
- 2+ years of agency or client-facing sales experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of OTT licensing, content distribution, and revenue models.
- Proven experience owning and closing strategic partnerships or media sales deals.
Nice to have
- Experience working with entertainment, gaming, sports, QSR, automotive, or adjacent consumer brands preferred.
- Existing relationships with major agencies, holding companies, and media buyers strongly preferred.

- Excellent negotiation and commercial instincts.
- Analytical thinker who can translate data into business recommendations.
- Strong understanding of multi-screen attribution, customer insights, and campaign management.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Creative problem solver with a bias toward action.
- Tools & Systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales pipeline management.
- PowerBI and Adobe Creative Cloud experience is a plus.
