About the role
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing MECM infrastructure, supporting enterprise endpoint management operations, and assisting with the deployment and configuration of MECM in cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure and associated site systems.
- Assist with the implementation and support of MECM components, including Management Points, Distribution Points, Software Update Points, and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
- Deploy and manage operating system deployment (OSD) task sequences and endpoint imaging solutions.
- Manage monthly patching activities and software updates through MECM and WSUS.
- Support endpoint inventory, compliance reporting, and asset management activities.
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration tasks.
- Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives in accordance with federal policies and standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Provide Tier II/III support for MECM-related incidents and service requests.
- We are seeking a MECM Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environments for a Federal Government customer.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.
- Experience with software packaging, software deployment, and operating system deployment (OSD).
- Experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Working knowledge of WSUS and Windows patch management processes.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Regularly required to sit.
- Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls.
- Required to speak and hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Federal Government agencies.
- Experience with Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
- Familiarity with Azure, Azure Government, or cloud infrastructure services.
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FISMA, and federal security requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Understanding of PKI and certificate-based authentication.

- $53k-$800k
