- Heads Up Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail oriented FAA Repair Station Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Perform board level troubleshooting to identify and resolve electronic and avionics system issues.
- Product Testing and Repair Perform functional testing of repaired products to ensure proper operation and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain compliance with FAA repair station procedures, company policies, and quality requirements.
- Support traceability and documentation requirements for all repair activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Experience with board level troubleshooting and electronic repair processes.
- Proficiency in soldering, desoldering, and reading electrical schematics.
- Experience using multimeters and electronic test equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment used in electronics repair.
- Ability to pass DOT pre employment and random quarterly drug testing.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen in accordance with FAA requirements.
Nice to have
- Associate's Degree in Electronics or a related technical field.
- Previous avionics, aerospace, or FAA repair station experience.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or repair environment.
- IPC certification or equivalent electronics assembly and soldering certification preferred.
