Responsibilities
- Perform cost analysis on good purchased through should cost, competitive bid, and/or cost breakdown analysis.
- Identify risks and drive solutions to mitigate risks and escalate when needed.
- Monitor market trends and drive favorable actions for Gentex.
- Develop and implement cost reductions to ensure favorable PPV targets are achieved.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure two-way professional relationships exist.
- Monitor supplier performance, provide feedback, and drive improvement actions with suppliers.
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Develop strong supplier relationships.
- Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
Requirements
- Manage and maintain required documentation.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years of experience purchasing from international suppliers.
Nice to have
- English fluent, and other language is a plus.
