About the role
- Position Summary: Provides general observational support for assigned patient care area. Works with other members of the patient care team to deliver care to patients in age groups including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics based on unit population. Education, License & Cert: High School Grad or Equivalent preferred. Experience: Advanced
- Certification or training (i.e. LPN, Crisis Training, Tech) Constant Observation or One to One observation experience preferred, but not necessary. Essential Functions: 1. Provide companionship to the patient. 2. Alert the RN of patient behavior which could lead to injury. 3. Maintain One to One observation status (constant eyesight and within arm's reach
