Responsibilities

  • Lead and be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from conception through closeout, ensuring projects deliver scope, quality, and safety standards on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate project-related activities, including design, execution, and closeout, working closely with project controls leads, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to resolve program conflicts and address potential issues proactively.
  • Manage customer interactions, project portfolio delivery aligned with critical metrics, and contractor relationships to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive the implementation of standard methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives across projects and regions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive leadership experience in Engineering, Project Management, or Manufacturing within regulated environments, with a strong emphasis on strategic oversight and team leadership.
  • Proven experience in leading multiple large-scale projects or portfolios, with the ability to prioritize and align efforts with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budget management, and resource allocation, including development of business plans and financial forecasts.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding cross-functional and cross-regional teams, fostering collaboration, and getting results.

  • Manufacturing experience in FDA-regulated environments, including design, startup, and operational phases.
  • Preferred:

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree, in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or Construction Management from an accredited institution required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Preferred Skills:

Skills

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing and engineering operations.
  • Familiarity with JNJ systems such as IDEA, FPX, and OneCSS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint required
  • Familiar with Front-End Loading Best Practices.
  • Project Management Certification is preferred.
  • LEED AP certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency (oral & written) in English is required.
  • This position will require 10% domestic and international travel.
