About the role
- The ideal candidate has experience supporting EPA in remediation of Superfund sites including mining sites.
- THIS IS AN ON-CALL, part-time hours position based on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Support technology transfer and training by identifying and evaluating ways to advance contaminated site cleanup including innovative technologies, approaches, strategies, and best practices.
- Provide technical support developing conceptual site models, site strategies, optimization recommendations and assisting with systematic project planning.
- Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and client engagement.
- Expertise in developing technical deliverables and training materials.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (environmental, civil, structural or similar discipline).
- Minimum 8 years of experience conducting site characterization and remediation of Superfund, Brownfields, and other contaminated sites.
- Experience with remediation of mining sites and the unique challenges associated with mining sites and mining influenced water.
- Knowledge of EPA Superfund cleanup program and policies.
- Professional skills: Team player with demonstrated project management skills including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
